Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This is where we have answered the most commonly asked questions for you – if your question is not answered then drop us an email.

Please make sure the email address that the Eventbrite confirmation is sent to is one you monitor as all future communication from us will come via that email address.

Do i get tickets through the post?

No we do not send out any tickets, you will have received an Eventbrite confirmation upon making the booking, this is your proof of purchase – if for any reason you do not receive a Eventbrite confirmation email us at bookings@theliquorists.com. We will then email you out meet info closer to the date of the booking – we never send out hard copy tickets, but for the boat cruises we send out eVouchers which you can print out and give to friends if you like!

What happens if i cannot make the Cruise?

We understand that sometimes plans change, or boring things get in the way of us having fun!! We offer full refunds on any booking until 30 prior to the booking.

What is your refund policy?

If you have booked these tickets by accident then we will of course refund your tickets, all we ask is that you get in touch as soon as you can.

If the event is less than 30 days away we will not be able to refund the ticket but can move your booking to any other date you like, or any other event, free of charge. The is of course dependent on the availability of the other dates in question.

If the event is less than 2 weeks away then your tickets are non-refundable  and non-transferable. We will happily try to sell your tickets on for you, but accept no liability for their resale.

We want you to be happy so just get in touch and we will work our hardest to make sure you are satisfied!

By booking you accept these and all other t’s and c’s of the Liquorists booking policy.

Where are we meeting?

The cruises all depart from Castlefield Arena, just off Liverpool Road in the city centre – Head down Liverpool Road until you reach Sapporo Teppanyaki restaurant, take a left down the stairs into the bowl, the boat will meet you there.

There are rare occasions where we depart from outside Barca, but these will be due to concerts in the arena and we will contact you prior to the cruise to confirm this.

What time do the cruises leave?

Usual departure times are as follows;

Wednesdays – 7pm

Thursdays – 7pm

Fridays – 7pm

Saturdays – 1pm OR 7pm (please check which option you selected when booking)

The cruises all last roughly 3 hours.

Can you accommodate our dietary requirements?

We make every effort to accommodate our guests’ requirements but we can only do so with advanced warning – unless you inform us before the cruise the food may be unsuitable and we will be unable to freestyle. Normally we can provide options for vegetarians and vegans, as well as for those with most major food allergies.

If you have a serious allergy we urge caution as whilst we take every care to avoid any cross contamination, there is always a risk. We will be happy to refund you the cost of the food if you feel at all nervous.

Are the cruises disabled friendly?

Unfortunately due to the layout of the boat we cannot accept anyone who requires the use of a wheelchair, and if using crutches must be able to climb and descend a small set of stairs.
